"UKRFERRY-Shipmanagement" (UKFM) is the former affiliated company of major private Rail/RO-Pax linear operator "UKRFERRY" Shipping Company . "UKRFERRY" Shipping Company was founded in 1995, when the company became separate and independent from Black Sea Shipping Co.

Staff of our company consists of high-qualified and skilled managers with many years of seagoing experience. It gives us the possibility to provide first-class service to Shipowners in all aspects of Fleet Management.

Well-qualified crew is the key to a high quality of operation both in respect of performance and economy. This is the most prospective direction of our business, as today Ukrainian seafarer's market is quite wide.

OUR SERVICES

Crew Management
We provide Shipowners with skilled and well-qualified Ukrainian officers and ratings. All our seafarers are certified in compliance with STCW-95 qualification requirements. Our wide and updated database gives the possibility to have in disposal highly-educated candidates for any type of ships. Seamen's selection procedure includes an interview, checking of professional abilities, previous sea service & references, level of English, certificates' validity. Our crewing processing includes arrangement of crews' joining and repatriation as well as all related functions, as required, including union relations, medical examinations, etc.
Ukrainian seafarers constantly increase their professional level in educational and training center based in Odessa National Maritime Academy. Certificates issued by the Odessa Training & Certification Centers are approved by DNV and recognized on the International Seafarers' Labour Market.
We also have experience of supplying passenger ships with catering staff.

Technical Management
We provide necessary shipboard management systems together with supporting manuals and follow-up in accordance with reporting procedures, which are parts of the company's Quality System.Our key personnel maintain quality procedures relating to technical conditions, maintenance and monitoring of performance. It allows to maintain the vessels to the agreed standards. Superintendents visit the vessels on regular basis or whenever required with necessary back-up.

Ships' Repair Organization
"Ukrferry Shipmanagement" arranges ships' repair and conversion in a full accordance with the latest requirements of IMO Conventions.
Contracting and Supervision at Ukrainian Shipyards, newbuilding, shiprepairing.
Close co-operation with Ukrainian ship yards allows to achieve these aims successfully. We offer organization of newbuitding supervision at local shipbuilding yards and abroad as well. Our Crew Department is ready to offer teams for ship's repairs while at sea or dry-docking as well.
