Comments	My name is Chernyshov Oleksii. I would like to introduce myself as a high motivated and performed person. I am 22 years old and my objective is to obtain an employment in a reliable company on a permanent basis and apply all my experience, skills, knowledge and industry. A few words about myself: after finishing an eleven-year course of school training, I entered an "ODESSA MARITIME COLLEGE NAMED AFTER MARINESCO", where I had a four-year course of training (from 2009 - till 2013) in navigation specialty. During this course of training I have had 2 shipboard trainings, the duration of each was 6 months, position-sailor. After graduation from the college and having passed all necessary certification trainings for a position of a Watch Officer, I have got a working diploma-Certificate of Competence. As I have already had positive reviews from ships on which I have had shipboard training, the «Van Laar Maritime», after corresponding validation, employed me for a position of 2nd Officer The ships I worked on had the deadweight of from 200 till 19000 tons. My last ship was Guard – Support - Chase vessel with controllable pitch propeller and bow thruster. During my work on 2nd Officer position my duties were: navigational watch, loading watch, correction all Navigation publications and charts, fill in garbage log book, compass error log book, GMDSS log book etc. Few words about my guarding duties. Each watch I guarded an anchor wire about 500 hundred meters length. Kept a sharp look out from sailing yachts, speed crafts, etc. in a high traffic area near Holland coasts in The North sea. Each time when a vessel intended to cross the wire I I connected with her by VHF and asked to altered course. I was remarked by the Master and I completely justified his confidence. During each guardian watch I keep my vessel on position against powerful stream and wind. I also drew up voyage plans and made all relevant calculations, getting ready the ship’s clearing in and clearing out documents. I have never had any negative comments from management. I also have skills in usage of the astronomy and I kept the astronomy watching book. I am highly skilled in drawing up passage plans on paper charts as well as on electronic ECDIS Transas & C-Map, have perfect skills in usage of many computer programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook etc .On joining the ship I primarily get familiarized with all applicable and available ship’s documentation, instructions and regulations of the company, study the SMS manuals, innovations which occurred during my absence. I have also more than once got promotion recommendations. At present time I study at Odessa National Maritime Academy, instruction by correspondence department for getting the Bachelor diploma. I have great experience in working in piracy regions with ship’s guard as well as without it. I was also succeeded to accept the new tanker Adfines Sea from scratch in Argentina. I can easily master the unfamiliar equipment, programs and machinery. I can work in mixed crews of different nationalities and religions. I have a respectful attitude towards worldviews and religions of my colleagues. I always do my best to smooth out the rough edges in work and in communication with my colleagues and direction. I am also delighted to take any trainings, exams, tests and interviews. I haven’t got any harmful habits; I don’t smoke and don’t drink alcohol. My hobbies are: books, I am fond of sports, particularly of fitness, swimming, basketball, tennis and track and field. In work as well as in communication I am always calm, reasonable, try not to create conflicts and solve all running ship’s problems in a peaceful manner. I never create conflicts myself. I constantly improve my skills by means of technical literature and trainings. I am always patient and try to listen to my colleague in any work and assist them if they don’t cope with some working task or they are not familiar with some working aspects. I can respond to any complicated, dangerous and spontaneous ship’s activities quickly and in a seamanlike manner. In any serious ship’s situations such as loading, mooring, towing and other activities which require special attention, I try to familiarize myself with definite instructions on fulfillment of these works. I have the ability of high operability and I am skilled to find effective solutions and achieve positive results. I am highly stress resistant, persistent, orderly, diligent, responsible, have no harmful habits. I have the ability to create friendly relations with people. As I purposefully decided to become an Officer, I will make every effort to justify the confidence of the company which will be interested in my candidature.
