| Comments | Hello! :) My name is Viktor. I’m a Second Mate presently. Little bit of my experience: I’ve started my education in Odessa National Maritime Academy in the age of 16 as I’ve dreamed to become a Seaman since childhood and finally I think it’s something in the blood that makes you love the Sea and your Good Lady (vessel) Since 18 yos I was working on vessels. Starting with small Ukrainian port facility (off-shore) vessel, then small int’l bulk carrier as cadet after which I commenced climbing on my carrier ladder step by step. I have experience of work as OS and AB, so “capable to tight a knot” (as one Master said). Finally I’ve become an Officer at the age of 21. Have changed some companies trying to find diligent and high-level staff. My advantages are: -Highly motivated; -Hard-working; -Straightforwardness; -Experience working with multi-national crew and navigational charts paperless vessels. -Advanced English -Advanced knowledge of computers and Office programs (Excel, Word, Photoshop); -Always self-improving and updating my knowledge; -Having a good conduct of the crew; -Sober in both meanings of this word; -After having read the book “Across the cultures” maintaining tolerance and understanding of multi-national crew (Especially high power distance and high-context cultures as they react on some situations differently than European); ==================================================== Looking for a good company to work for where my skills, knowledge and output will be fully appreciated. |
